GC-HS solvents

The determination of Organic Volatile Impurities (OVI) utilizes the GC-Headspace technique, which necessitates the use of organic solvents to dissolve or extract the sample. These solvents must be free of impurities to prevent interference with the GC-HS analysis. Methods for identifying and quantifying these solvents in pharmaceutical products, addressing potential human health risks, are detailed in Chapter 467 of the USP and Chapter 2.4.24 of the European Pharmacopoeia. To enhance the accuracy of GC-HS analysis, we have developed a range of GC-HS solvents specifically designed to be free from volatile impurities that could cause interference.

Features & Benefits

Trustworthy for leftover solvent checks: Every lot is pre-checked, so it finds residual solvents in drug components precisely, without getting in the way.

Super Clean: Produced by special distillation, they contain hardly any unwanted substances, leading to more precise tests.

Easy-to-Read Data: They generate neat charts with steady backgrounds, simplifying the process of finding and measuring compounds.

Improved Accuracy: Minimal water and excellent UV transparency lead to more exact and trustworthy analytical outcomes.
